Texas RRC Election Time Back to Blog
Today begins the first day of early voting in Texas and there is a hotly contested race for Texas Railroad Commissioner with the Republican candidates being Ryan Sitton; an oil and gas engineer, Wayne Christian; former State Representative; Malachi Boyuls, an attorney and Becky Berger; a geologist. Democratic candidates are Steve Brown of Missouri City and Dale Henry of Lampasas. The Railroad Commission of Texas is the state agency that regulates the oil and gas industry. Its decisions greatly affect energy development in Texas and beyond. Get involved by casting your vote this week.
